I can't begin to say how much I love this concept and the execution of it! I think this is one of the coolest new ideas not only in lesbian erotica, but lesbian romance fiction in general. I love the episodic nature of the series, personally a big problem for me is getting a new book and reading it in a day and a half and then being with nothing to read, so a new chapter each week is really fun. If you can't wait and want to read it all at once, you can do that too.Seeing that several different writers work on the series may make you wonder how cohesive it all is, but I never had any dissonance while reading and they overall atmosphere and immersiveness was excellent. I really liked several of the characters and want to spend a lot more time with them. If I had one complaint it would be that I felt too much of the story was taken up by the character of Kennedy. She's a horrendous emotional predator and user and it got to the point where I was wondering why I was supposed to care what happened to her at all. Also it's hard to enjoy a sex scene with a character like that, because she's lying to her partners constantly and I can't enjoy that. And with her taking up a lot of the story with drama and sex that I didn't enjoy, other characters that I did like weren't getting any.
So yeah, this is an awesome concept that is executed really well. It's sexy, atmospheric and the mystery was deep and engaging. I really wanted to know what was going on and like all good mystery TV shows they don't tell you right away and leave you wanting more. Bring on season two!

Though I like the concept of how it's written, you never quite get to the depth of a character, except the psycho lawyer. Wish they would take a little more time with each character instead of just giving you the cliff notes.
I was curious as I had read an interview where this book was written by different people. It really shows as all of the characters are fully developed and it was so neat to me to have all of these different perspectives for the characters involved. Just when you thought one person wasn't so great, you were then taken to see it from their point of view. I also enjoyed the flow of the material and how real it felt. Super excited for the next installment!!
